A6 · Custom AI
Build the system your workflow really needs.
When a standard accelerator is not enough, Brickfyn designs a solution around your process, your data, your integrations and your control requirements.
When Custom is justified
- The process is specific and no standard component covers its core.
- The business value justifies a dedicated design effort.
- Control, security or regulatory requirements call for a particular architecture.
- The system must be operable, auditable and maintainable over time.
How we scope a Custom project
- 01
Extended qualification
You describe the workflow, volumes, systems and constraints in the detailed form.
- 02
Senior discovery
An in-depth conversation with a Brickfyn expert to validate the need and the assumptions.
- 03
Solution assessment
Feasibility, possible reuse, effort, dependencies, security and privacy. Decision: GO, re-scope, partner or No-Go.
- 04
Proposal
Scope, timeline, setup and optional RUN, with explicit assumptions.

With the system
The need does not fit any standard tool.
A system is designed around the process, with reusable components where possible.
The project starts without scoping.
An assessment precedes any commitment; a No-Go is possible.
Maintenance is uncertain.
Operability and support are assessed before the quote.

Frequently asked questions
When is a project Custom?
When no Brickfyn component covers the core of the need and the value justifies the effort. Otherwise we propose an accelerator or a hybrid.
Can you decline a project?
Yes. A project that cannot be operated, audited or maintained with the planned resources is declined, re-scoped or referred to a partner.
Who owns the intellectual property?
This is defined in the contract: reusable Brickfyn components on one side, the client-specific layer on the other.
